Automated Expert Advisors (.ex5 files) must be placed in the dedicated MetaTrader 5 directory:
Open MT5, navigate to File → Open Data Folder. Double-click the MQL5 folder, then open the Experts subfolder. Place your Aureus_Apex_Gold.ex5 file directly into this folder.
Return to MT5, right-click inside the Navigator window (Ctrl+N), and select Refresh. Your EA will immediately appear under the Expert Advisors tree.
For security and execution speed, AUREUS Apex Gold is 100% DLL-Free. You do NOT need to enable "Allow DLL Imports". However, MetaTrader 5 requires automated trading permissions and WebRequest authorization:

Add the following production cloud endpoint to the URL list to allow live telemetry streaming to your Web Terminal:
Open an official XAUUSD (or broker-equivalent gold symbol like GOLD or XAUUSD.c) chart. Set the chart timeframe to M5 (5-Minute) for the primary quantitative volatility cycle.
Drag Aureus_Apex_Gold from the Navigator onto the chart. In the dialog, verify that Allow Algo Trading is checked. Click OK. A green graduation cap will appear in the top-right corner of your chart confirming the engine is active.
